Welcome

St. Mark's UMC is a loving community making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. St. Mark's United Methodist Church began in 1957 when the Rev. Paul G. Cochran was appointed to the Indialantic area to organize a new Methodist congregation and to build a church. The first worship service took place in a house on Fourth Avenue on December 30, 1957 with 22 in attendance.

Now, more than 60 years later, with a focus on worship and community, St. Mark's UMC is the beachside Methodist church with the green roof that you may have seen on A1A. We're famous for our community events such as the pumpkin patch, and our out-of-the-box services like our early-morning beach service. We host a diverse range of beliefs and backgrounds within our walls, and we know you can find your place amongst are many ministries, small groups, and communities.
