CHRISTMAS EVE: Please join us on Friday, December 24th at 6 PM for our candlelight Christmas Eve service.

OFFICE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: The church office will be closed for staff holiday from December 27th to January 3rd.  We will be back to regular hours on January 4th.  Merry Christmas!

TREE OF LIGHTS: Our Tree of Lights annual fundraiser begins November 28th, the first Sunday of Advent, and will run through December 31st. We invite you to consider this joyful opportunity to remember or honor a loved one during this Holy season. A special “Tree of Lights” will be placed outside near the St. Mark’s Memorial Garden. Its colorful lights will be lit every night as we anticipate the coming of Christ and celebrate those who hold special places in our hearts. A list of those honored will be displayed on our website and in our worship bulletin.

Donations to the Tree of Lights will support St. Mark’s Ministries, as well as our connectional giving paid to the Florida United Methodist Conference which allocates funds for world service, relief, and missions.

We would be grateful for any amount as a donation. Donations may be mailed to the church or placed in the offering plate; please note your donation as “Tree of Lights” and provide the name of your loved one and your name as you would like it to appear publicly.

Thank you in advance for your support during this holiday season!

LOVE OFFERING: To show our appreciation for St. Marks staff, each year we offer the opportunity for members of the congregation to make a love offering. This offering is distributed among the St. Marks staff in thanks for the hard work they do all year around. Please look for a love offering letter in the mail for more details.

Expressing Gratitude Through Giving

A local couple has made it their personal mission to deliver around 200 home cooked meals weekly to the homeless in Brevard County.

On Monday and Wednesday nights they deliver up to 100 dinners to the unsheltered. On these nights they need meals cooked in 20x13x3.5 aluminum disposable pans with lids. Any casserole style stirrable meal is appropriate

On Thursday evenings, they deliver meals to families living in motels. If you don’t care to cook, they complete the meals with fresh fruit and/or salad kits, drinks, sweet treats and/or dinner rolls. Additional food items like boxes of instant oatmeal, cereal, snacks and fruit cups for the following morning may also be donated.

Volunteer cooks deliver their meals to this couple’s home in Suntree by 5:00pm on the designated day so they can be delivered in the community by 6:00pm. To sign up to cook or donate please contact Anna one week prior to the day you wish to volunteer at ourfriendsandneighbors@gmail.com
